What this component does

The sidebar is the main app-level navigation. It moves you between the active dashboard, the archive, and this guide.

What to click

  • Click Dashboard to return to active work.
  • Click Archive to review completed history.
  • Use Help and Guide any time you need a refresher.

How to use it well

Treat the sidebar as your mode switch. If something looks missing, first check whether you are on the correct page.

What this component does

AI Quick Add turns a natural-language request into a structured task. It can infer a title, due date, priority, and sub-task suggestions.

What to click

  • Click inside the highlighted text area first.
  • Type a full instruction, not just a short label.
  • Click Add with AI after the request is complete.

How to use it well

Include a deadline, urgency, and expected output. The more concrete the prompt, the cleaner the generated task will be.

Quick add composer

What this component does

This action row gives you fast access to dashboard utilities: expanding rows, collapsing them, importing data, exporting backups, and opening a manual task.

What to click

  • Click New Task to open the manual editor.
  • Use Expand All before reviewing many sub-tasks.
  • Use Import CSV or Export CSV for data transfer.

How to use it well

Use this row for batch-level actions. It is the right place for setup and review tasks before you start editing individual records.

Dashboard action row

What this component does

The task modal is where you define the main record: title, priority, status, due date, and sub-task breakdown.

What to click

  • Start with the title field to describe the work clearly.
  • Use the highlighted Due Date area to define the schedule.
  • Add or refine sub-tasks so the header can roll up progress and deadlines.

How to use it well

Keep the header outcome-focused, and keep sub-tasks action-focused. If sub-tasks exist, their latest due date controls the header due date automatically.

What this component does

The expanded list view lets you update a task without opening the modal for every small change. It exposes progress, status, due dates, and row actions.

What to click

  • Use the header checkbox to complete all remaining open sub-tasks at once.
  • Use the highlighted status pill to change the task state directly in the table.
  • Use hover actions on the right to edit or delete tasks and sub-tasks.

How to use it well

Use list view when you want a compact operational view. Expand rows when reviewing detailed sub-task timelines or completion history.
